Overview:
What do we mean when we think about - Diversity? Inclusion? Equity? Belonging?
(DEI) What programs, processes and procedures have you had to integrate DEI into your workplace? Are you now required to remove your DEI initiatives so you are in compliance with President's Trump's mandate that states DEI is a form of discrimination and may be illegal? What exactly does the DEI mandate mean/require? Can an employee sue for discrimination if DEI is still an active element within your organization and they believe your DEI strategy discriminates against them? Will you still be conducting discrimination and harassment training or will that be in violation of the administration's DEI mandate? What are some of the challenges the mandate requires you follow?
Why should you Attend:
Public Workplaces and many private organizations are uncertain what DEI means and how they should be compliant with the president's mandate to eliminate all DEI programs. Workplaces are fearful of the president's repercussions if they do not follow the mandate. Many employers, particularly private employers, doubt if the mandate influences Title VII and other civil rights laws. Attending this webinar will explain how the mandate for DEI and the law fit together.
